Koester Metals, Inc has been a premier fabricator of custom and modified standard electrical enclosures since 1975. For the past 35 years, KMI has custom designed and built thousands of transformer and generator enclosures as well. With all operations from laser cutting through assembly in house, KMI supplies everything from small brackets and components to large walk-in style enclosures.
For the past decade, KMI has also offered contract manufacturing as an additional value-added service to customers. High volume production processing capabilities also adds efficiency to KMI's operations. These unique processing capabilities allow the ability to run optimal quantities and build parts to stock which allow for geater efficiencies, quick turn deliveries, and short lead times on repeating orders. KMI offers stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, galvanized, galvaneal, and other specialty metal fabrication services.
With a recent expansion which included the acquisition of 135,000 sq ft of additional manufacturing space, KMI has increased product offerings to include traffic control enclosures. These traffic style cabinets can be standard, modified, or completely custom built to your exact specifications. Traffic style enclosures are also available in stainless steel, aluminum, or painted/ powder coated mild steel. KMI has built many of these enclosures in the past, and due to the exapnsion can now offer them in greater volumes and higher production quantities.
