Since its founding in 1975, Koester Metals, Inc. has been providing high quality sheet metal enclosures and fabricated components to industry. As the company grows it continues to implement the latest process technologies to meet today's AND tomorrow's challenges. We are proud that many long-term customers have come to rely on KMI. Customers include the material handling industry, electrical drives manufacturers, as well as power and hydraulic systems producers. KMI supplies high quality products and services with the goal of helping customers grow and increase profits. Under the second-generation leadership of Gary Koester, the company has evolved as a "world class" supplier with the implementation of ISO 9002, making it capable of achieving a high degree of repeatability while generating products that are accepted worldwide. Operations are contained in two factory buildings, totaling nearly 70,000 square feet, and located on a single 17 acre site. There is plenty of room for major expansion as necessary. Though there is no existing rail service within the plant site, an operating railroad does exist adjacent to the company's southern property line, and service can readily be brought onto the property. With an ongoing commitment to product and process innovation, superior quality and prompt solutions to problems, KMI maintains a high level of customer service. |
